Leica M3 + Summicron 50mm f2 Dual Range

Body Serial: 1101438 Single Stroke
Lens Serial: 2356803

The Leica M3, introduced in 1954, was Leica’s first M mount system. Prior to this, Leica was producing only screw-mount cameras. Compared to earlier models, the M3 has a much improved viewfinder that’s larger, more accurate and brighter.

Over 225K M3s were made, making it by far the best selling Leica of all time. M3?s with serial numbers over 1M have a premium placed on them as many believe that these cameras are the highpoint of Leitz craftsmanship as it was the end of production with a very order indian xanax experienced crew of craftsman.

This is the very first M that started my Leica journey and very much changed what photography meant for me entirely. I went from digital point-and-shoot and DSLR, all the way back to film and full manual, and the good old days when I picked up photography from my old man when I was kid. Since then, I have gone on to pick up the M6, M9 and a couple of Olympus OMs.
